  • ChallengeDevelop an enterprise-level performance recognition system. The system must be able to process peer-to-peer nominations and criteria-based nominations, such as anniversaries. The system must support HRIS data feeds for personnel account information and include a fulfillment backend process that supports multiple vendors.
  • SolutionHRLINK is an enterprise-level Performance Recognition System that automates the business process of employee awards and recognition. The system can be installed as a turnkey solution to support companies launching a first-time recognition program or as a custom solution to facilitate the data collection, management, and award fulfillment processes of an existing program. HRLINK is a database-driven ASP.NET Web application.

    HRLINK is used by Booz Allen Hamilton to support their internal awards and anniversary program.

    HRLINK supports two types of nominations:

    * Peer-to-Peer Nominations
    * Criteria-based Nominations, such as anniversary programs, performance-based metrics, or safety records

    HRLINK is the first system of its kind to capture and store the descriptive justifications entered by nominators during the submission process. This information is linked to the employee’s personnel data.

    Collected nominations are automatically routed to the appropriate Award Coordinator based on the team assignment of the nominee. Once received, coordinators have the option of approving, declining, or modifying the nomination, such as elevating the nomination to the next award level or adjusting the awarded amount. A historical log of all actions taken by the coordinators is maintained by the system.

    As nominations are approved, the system automatically notifies gift vendors of award orders. An electronic copy of orders are also sent to the coordinators and administrators by e-mail.

    HRLINK provides integrated tools to track each gift item associated with an order through the fulfillment process, including the generation of packing slips and invoices.

    HRLINK is designed to work with HRIS data to determine

    * Employee login information
    * Employee award eligibility
    * Employee team assignments
    * Employee email and address information
    * Employee service dates for anniversary awards

    If HRIS data is not available, integrated editors are provided to manage user account information within the system.
